Beobee Military Hospital
God has led us to invest into the lives of the patients that live in this rugged and rural military hospital. Around 50
patients are here full time, most of them together with their families. About half of these patients have AIDS/HIV, and
the others have sicknesses like malaria, tuberculosis, land mine injuries, diabetes, and ulcers. We spend time with them,
share together in their lives, help them when they are sick, bring them water, coconuts, medicine, fluff their pillows,
hold their hands, and most importantly share Jesus with them, many of them living their last days here on earth.
Many, many patients have received Jesus into their lives.
So much so that God led us to help begin a church right here in the
hospital. Every Sunday afternoon some of our Cambodian Christian friends lead a church service for these hospital patients.
They learn the Word, sing praises to Jesus, and pray together. God is really building a community here in this place that
was once so dark and full of death. We also have opportunity to share with the doctors, nurses, and medical assistants at
the hospital. We have been able to build a strong relationship with them through sharing about Jesus, teaching English, and
through our relationships with their patients. Pray for God to bind up the broken hearted, set the captive free, and heal
the sick in this place. If you want to read more about what God is doing at this hospital, check out this article written
